Job Title: Teaching Assistant for SEN Pupils in Preston

About the Job:
In a small size Primary School in Preston, we are seeking a Part-Time Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with Autism. This is an excellent opportunity for a patient and understanding individual to make a positive impact on a child's life.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of SEN needs and be able to provide calm yet firm support when needed. The successful applicant will work closely with the SENCO team to develop strategies to support the pupil's needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to the pupil during class-time interactions
- Assist the teacher with guided reading sessions
- Supervise the pupil during morning sessions (8:15 - 12:30)

Requirements:
- Patient and understanding individual with a calm demeanor
- Experience working with pupils with SEN needs
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Salary and Benefits:
This role comes with an estimated salary of £20,000-£25,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus 12.07% statutory holiday pay. We also offer free child protection and prevent duty training, and assistance with DBS checks.
