About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in a school near Preston. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with SEN to achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individualised support to pupils with SEN, working closely with teachers to deliver lessons and manage behaviour. You will also be responsible for preparing the learning environment and contributing to the overall development of the school.

This is a temporary full-time position, available for 35 hours per week. The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience. The successful candidate will be required to work from 8:30am-3:45pm, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:
- Providing individualised support to pupils with SEN
- Working closely with teachers to deliver lessons and manage behaviour
- Preparing the learning environment

Requirements:
- Hold right to work in the UK
- Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate
- Two professional child-related references

A Team Teach qualification and Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification are highly desirable, but not essential. An up-to-date Safeguarding certificate is also desirable but training can be provided.
