Job Title: Personal Advisor

We are working closely with a Local Authority in Nottingham to assist with the appointment of a Personal Advisor, on a 3-month contract, with the possibility of extension. If you are a motivated and experienced professional, we encourage you to apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £18.25 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • To work towards achieving the specific aims and objectives of the Aftercare Service and the Children, Families and Cultural Services Business Plan.
  • To collaborate with various partner organisations to assess, plan, and intervene with vulnerable young people and their families.
  • To manage a caseload of individual service users in accordance with assessed risk and policies and procedures, and the Children Act guidance and regulations.
  • To utilise manual and computerised systems for recording information and data, and ensure that all relevant records and documents are managed in accordance with policy and procedures.
  • To contribute to the development and delivery of interagency strategies relating to vulnerable young people.
Requirements:
  • Educated to minimum GCSE level C or above, including Maths and English.
  • Full driving licence (unless disability precludes this).
  • Relevant qualification.
  • Knowledge and understanding of human growth and development, and the particular issues relating to young people living care.

  • You should be available to work immediately or at short notice.
  • You should have the right to work in the UK.
  • This role requires an enhanced DBS.
