Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Engineer to join our Infrastructure team at Galliford Try Group. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate site engineering control and setting out activities, providing information to operatives and subcontractors.
  • Undertake material reconciliations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure all surveying equipment is calibrated to maintain high standards.
  • Carry out as-built surveys on complete works and drawings to document project progress.
  • Produce 2D & 3D site sketches to facilitate communication and planning.
  • Assist in maintaining quality records, ensuring all works are undertaken in accordance with Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and maintaining as-built records.
  • Assist in basic planning, monitoring & programming to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Control and minimize waste on site to optimize resources.
  • Read & Interpret data and drawings to inform decision-making.
  • Foster a flexible attitude to work, adapting to changing project requirements.
  • Hold a relevant CSCS card and possess Office 365 expertise.
