Construction Site Engineer

Aldwych Consulting is seeking a skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our team on a large infrastructure scheme in the Norwich area.
Job Summary:We are looking for a Site Engineer with a strong background in civil engineering and experience working on infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and supervising site works, including subcontract packages, and will work closely with the Section Engineer and supervisors to manage any clashes with other site works.
Key Responsibilities:- Review designs and raise any queries to the Section Engineer.
- Understand the design specifications and drawings for the section.
- Contribute to the project 4-week lookahead programme weekly for the works.
- Work with the Section Engineer and supervisors to manage any clashes with other site works.
- Review the supply chain application for payments for the package.
- Ensure accurate quality records are delivered in a progressive manner as construction works are complete.
- Ensure quality records are captured and stored correctly.
- A current and relevant CSCS Card.
- Able to display experience in a similar role working with a main contractor.
- A relevant degree or HND/HNC certificate in civils (or equivalent is preferable).
