Job Title: Apprentice Construction Site Engineer

Galliford Try Group is seeking a skilled and motivated Apprentice Construction Site Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure business, you will play a vital role in delivering high-profile projects and contributing to our company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain site engineering control and setting out activities
  • Coordinate site engineering control and setting out activities and provide information to operatives and subcontractors
  • Undertake material reconciliations and ensure accurate records
  • Assist in maintaining quality records and ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with Inspection and Test Plans (ITP)
  • Control and minimize waste on site
  • Promote safe working cultures and practices
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of site engineering and setting out principles
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports
