Criminal Justice Case Administrator

We are seeking a dedicated Case Finalisation Administrator to assist in the operational aspects of the criminal justice system within our organization.
Working Hours
This position is a full-time role, operating Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, totaling 37 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the Crime Database and the National Computer regarding non-court resolutions, including various sanctions and warnings, in compliance with legal standards and organizational policies.
- Manage the return, disposal, or destruction of seized items to both victims and defendants, adhering to relevant guidelines.
- Finalize case files upon conclusion, ensuring that all necessary documentation meets established quality standards.
Role Duties
- Input, retrieve, and present data effectively using computer systems.
- Review, retain, and appropriately dispose of records and information.
- Ensure the proper handling and storage of property.
- Provide expert advice and knowledge in relevant areas.
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Collect information to support necessary actions.
- Produce and present documents using computer software.
Training Requirements
- PNC Names/Offence Processing
- CIS Basic, CIS Process
- OIS Basic
- NSPIS Case Preparation
- Understanding of the Criminal Procedures and Investigation Act 1996
Essential Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Criminal Justice System.
- Ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Proven skills in customer care.
- Familiarity with CPIA regulations.
- Proficient knowledge of the Police National Computer.
- Minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute.
