About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Research Nurse Specialist to join our Renal and Melanoma Research Team. As a key member of our team, you will promote studies, recruit patients, and administer research drugs. Your expertise will ensure the safe administration of experimental treatments and monitor their effects.
Key Responsibilities
* Screen and identify patients eligible for clinical trials
* Attend outpatient clinics to recruit participants and monitor progress
* Provide detailed knowledge of clinical trial protocols
* Design and develop high-quality patient information sheets
Requirements
* Registered Nurse with postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience
* Experience working with patients and families in relevant clinical areas
* Proven ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Salary and Benefits
* Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
