Meridian Business Support is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill the role of Residential House Parent at an educational establishment in Oxford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to boarders, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment that fosters their growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the provision of a stable and secure boarding environment, promoting self-reliance and managed support for students.
  • Establish trust with parents, ensuring the safeguarding of their children and collaborating with the House Manager to maintain efficient boarding residence operations.
  • Work within the boarding area during term time, contributing to the overall well-being of the boarding community.
Requirements
  • SVQ3 Qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent (desirable)
  • Proven track record in boarding or similar older childcare settings.
  • Experience in pastoral care of students in an educational setting.
  • Safeguarding experience and training up to Level 2 or willingness to complete training.
  • Comprehensive First Aid Training including first response.
