Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Management Team Lead to join our team at Hitachi Vantara Corporation. As a key member of our Presales organization, you will be responsible for technical ownership and leadership in the field of data and cyber resilience.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Technical ownership and leadership in the field of data and cyber resilience, covering presales, post-sales, enablement, market analysis, competitor analysis, and solution/offering development.
  2. Acting as the conduit between the field and product management/engineering to ensure the future strategy of the portfolio aligns with market needs.
  3. Technical thought leadership and mentoring, delivering innovation, insights, and enablement to extend the skills of our field and partner presales communities.
  4. Representing the portfolio with customers, alliances, partners, and field sales, utilizing exceptional in-person and social media communication skills.
  5. Participating in events, forums, and writing articles, blogs, and/or white papers to raise the Hitachi Vantara profile in the market.

Requirements

  1. Proven, customer-facing, commercially savvy solutions professional with extensive experience in the technology, infrastructure, data management industry.
  2. Deep knowledge of the data resiliency and cyber resiliency domain, particularly leading software and solutions (Commvault, Veeam, Veritas).
  3. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, adaptable to target audiences (internal, external, and seniority levels).
  4. Ability to manage multiple engagements, prioritization, planning, task delegation, and attention to detail.
  5. Self-motivation, tenacious, and comfortable working in a virtual, global team structure.
  6. Ability and desire to travel globally, with typically 3-4 weeks per quarter in the US and/or APAC regions.
  7. Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new and emerging technologies, methodologies, solutions, and partners.
