About the RoleAs a Risk and Compliance Lead, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our company's compliance with regulatory requirements and managing technical risks associated with smart metering. Your expertise will help us navigate the evolving energy landscape and deliver a power network that meets the region's needs.
Key Responsibilities- Represent Northern Powergrid at industry bodies, fostering relationships with regulatory bodies like DESNZ.
- Manage the technical risk register and corporate risk register, ensuring our company's compliance and risk management.
- Develop and maintain firmware intelligence packs, communicating with suppliers to mitigate risks.
- Assist in technical assessments of meter asset failures and provide expert advice on smart metering and firmware configurations.
- Good working knowledge of smart meters, firmware configurations, and IT systems associated with smart meters.
- Knowledge of the smart meter rollout and specific meter types.
- Excellent communication skills, including report writing and presentation abilities.
- Ability to interpret regulatory documents and provide responses.
- SQL or other database skills.
