Job Title: Compliance and Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager to join our team at P3CL, a leading Modular Building Specialist with sites across the UK.

The ideal candidate must have a technical and working knowledge of Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental areas and be responsible for such areas within the company's operations, ensuring the company meets regulatory requirements, protects the workforce, the environment, and maintains high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement Health and Safety, Environment, and Quality policies, ensuring all employees are aware of the policies and trained to comply with them.
  2. Monitor compliance by conducting audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure the company is complying with regulatory requirements.
  3. Identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them by working with other departments to reduce the risk of accidents or incidents.
  4. Implement and manage Health and Safety by developing training programs and conducting safety meetings.
  5. Develop and implement Environmental Management Plans to reduce the risk of environmental incidents.
  6. Manage Quality Control Programs by developing quality control processes and conducting quality audits.
  7. Improve compliance with regulatory requirements to reduce the risk of penalties and improve the company's reputation.
  8. Improve Safety Performance by identifying potential hazards and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  9. Improve Environmental Performance by identifying potential environmental hazards and developing strategies to reduce the risk of incidents.
  10. Improve Quality Standards by ensuring the company meets quality standards.
  11. Improve Corporate Responsibility by ensuring the company meets regulatory requirements and maintains high-quality standards.
Requirements:
  1. IOSH/NEBOSH Diploma
  2. Degree Qualified in SHEQ Management
  3. Lead Auditor Practitioner Qualification - ISO 9001
  4. Good communication skills
  5. Able to carry out internal and external audits
  6. Able to identify training needs
  7. Able to carry out accident investigations and root cause analysis
