We are seeking a skilled Complex Needs Support Worker to join Niyaa People's dynamic team in Leicester. This is an exciting opportunity to work with individuals facing significant challenges, including mental health issues, substance misuse, and a history of offending.
As a Complex Needs Support Worker, you will take a strength-based, trauma-informed approach to help residents overcome barriers and work towards independence. Your role will involve supporting residents with tenancy sustainment, daily living skills, and access to services that improve their well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish strong, trusting relationships with residents as a Complex Needs Support Worker.
- IDentify risks and implement strategies to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals.
- Develop and review personalised support plans aimed at fostering greater independence.
- Provide harm reduction advice and assist residents in managing their tenancies effectively.
- Deliver both one-on-one and group sessions to improve residents' life skills and confidence.
