Compliance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our team at Drax Group. As a key member of our Compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of consistent advice, guidance, and training in relation to wholesale energy.
Your primary responsibilities will include supporting our Trading and Generation teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and developing and implementing effective compliance strategies. You will also be responsible for interacting with senior stakeholders across the business, influencing decision-making, and coaching other members of the team.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Trading and Generation teams in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement effective compliance strategies
- Interact with senior stakeholders across the business, influencing decision-making
- Coach and develop other members of the team
- Investigate complex compliance issues, including large volumes of data gathering and analysis
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Education to degree level
- Understanding of wholesale physical and financial markets and energy market regulatory framework
- Significant experience working with commercial teams, preferably in the energy or financial services industries
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a compliance team
