School Management Professional

We are seeking an experienced Education Director to join our team at Castlepark Primary School. As a member of the management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the school's education department.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in primary education and excellent leadership and management skills. They will also have experience of working in a similar role and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meeting deadlines and targets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement educational policies and procedures
- Manage and lead the education department
- Ensure the effective delivery of curriculum programmes
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders
This role is considered Regulated Work with Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007. Therefore, it is an offence to apply if you are barred from working with children.
The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check, prior to confirmation of employment being made by North Ayrshire Council.
