Chief Executive Officer

We are seeking an experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead The Hardman Trust, the only UK charity focused on supporting individuals with long-term sentences.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in senior leadership and management, with expertise in strategic planning, financial management, and human resources. They will be responsible for managing large organisational budgets and maximising resources, as well as securing funding from various sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the organisation's vision and mission
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver high-quality services
  • Manage and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including funders, partners, and supporters
  • Ensure effective financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Identify and secure new funding opportunities to sustain and grow the organisation

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in senior leadership and management roles
  • Expertise in strategic planning, financial management, and human resources
  • Demonstrable skills in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders
  • Able to manage and motivate a team of staff
  • Familiarity with charity sector regulations and compliance requirements

Salary Estimate: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience
