Bookmark Reading Charity seeks an exceptional leader to chair its Board, steering the organization towards unprecedented growth and social impact. As Chair, you will lead efforts to recruit and retain a diverse Board and volunteer base, driving strategic planning and performance evaluation. With a deep understanding of trusteeship and governance responsibilities, you will navigate the charity's journey, fostering partnerships with 1,000 schools and delivering 165,000 one-to-one reading sessions. This is a unique opportunity to leave a lasting legacy in education, empowering every child with the gift of reading.

The estimated salary range for this position is £25,000 - £40,000 per annum, considering the demands of the role and the London location. Reasonable expenses will be reimbursed. A Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required for successful applicants.
