2nd Line IT Support Engineer Opportunity

Principal IT is seeking a highly skilled 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join their team in Scunthorpe. As a key member of the Tech Fix team, you will be responsible for resolving tickets and creating content to prevent and ease future tickets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing technical support for Windows Server environments, physical server troubleshooting, and virtualisation products
  • Working with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
  • Troubleshooting Windows 10/Windows 11, firewall, and network issues
  • Ensuring security knowledge, including anti-virus, anti-malware, encryption, and MFA technologies
  • Supporting Office 365 environments, including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and Autopilot
Requirements:
  • Passion for IT and technology
  • Experience in a similar IT support role
  • Excellent knowledge of IT products, including Microsoft Windows Server, Core Infrastructure Server Hardware, Virtualisation, Exchange/Office 365, Azure, and Security Solutions
