About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and caring Support Worker to join our team at Coed Parc, a series of six stunning sole occupancy apartments for adults from the age of 18. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the physical and emotional needs of our residents are met through a supportive and caring environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the physical and emotional needs of residents are met through a supportive and caring environment.
- Support residents during recreational activities, outings, and community integration.
- Promote independence, self-esteem, and confidence in residents, celebrating their achievements and milestones.
- Work together with the team to ensure support is tailored to meet individual needs.
- Keep accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents.
- General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation.
Requirements:
- A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, adapting to individual needs.
- A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team.
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
- Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and occasional night shifts.
- A driving license is not essential, but would be advantageous.
