Job Title: RF Test Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled RF Test Technician to join our team at MassHire Lowell Career Center. As an RF Test Technician, you will be responsible for testing, tuning, and troubleshooting mid-range to highly complex military RF microwave hybrid assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform tests, tune, and troubleshoot RF microwave hybrid assemblies using state-of-the-art test equipment.
  • Test units over temperature, during vibration, and mechanical shock, and put units into burn-in ovens.
  • Use computer software to retrieve test procedures, assembly drawings, and schematics, and input test yield data.
  • Collaborate with RF Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineering to develop procedures and troubleshoot products to specifications.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in testing, tuning, and troubleshooting RF microwave hybrid assemblies.
  • Familiarity with RF equipment, including RF Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, and Oscilloscopes.
  • Ability to work under a microscope and use hand tools, such as torque drivers and tweezers.
  • Good computer skills and ability to read and work from detailed process sheets and drawings.
  • Experience operating computer-driven mechanical vibration equipment and soldering components in accordance with J-STD-.
  • Experience with data analysis of RF microwave test data and writing test procedures and troubleshooting from schematics.
  • Familiarity working in an ESD and FOD controlled environment.

Working Conditions:

This is a weekend shift position, working 12 hours a day, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 5:00am to 5:30pm.
