RF Verification & Test Engineer

CBSbutler Ltd. is a global leader in specialised components and subsystems for innovative solutions in medical, science, aerospace, defence, and industrial applications.

Our products are used in various industries, including hospitals, planes, ships, and even outer space. As an RF Verification & Test Engineer, you will be working on Microwave Power Module and TWT development programmes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop test methodology and understand system requirements and functional characteristics
  • Work with test facilities equipment owners, both internal and external, to assemble and develop test set-ups and plan testing
  • Execute test plans and write test reports to demonstrate compliance
  • Liaise with electronics and microwave tube engineers to diagnose and resolve system and component level performance issues
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Knowledge of microwave theory, equipment, and test processes
  • Experience working with microwave amplifier systems - mW to W
  • Test planning working from customer, internal, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Experience working on defence electronics systems and projects
  • Degree-level or equivalent industrial experience
