Job Description

At CBS Butler, we are seeking a skilled RF Verification and Test Specialist to join our team of experts in specialized components and subsystems for innovative solutions in medical, science, aerospace, defence, and industrial applications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working on Microwave Power Module and TWT development programmes, developing test methodology, understanding system requirements and functional characteristics, and collaborating with test facilities equipment owners to assemble and develop test set-ups.

Key responsibilities will include executing test plans, writing test reports to demonstrate compliance, and liaising with electronics and microwave tube engineers to diagnose and resolve system and component level performance issues.

Essential skills and experience include knowledge of microwave theory, equipment, and test processes, experience working with microwave amplifier systems, test planning, and experience working on defence electronics systems and projects.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced RF Verification and Test Specialist who is passionate about delivering high-quality results and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop test methodology and understand system requirements and functional characteristics
  • Work with test facilities equipment owners to assemble and develop test set-ups
  • Execute test plans and write test reports to demonstrate compliance
  • Liaise with electronics and microwave tube engineers to diagnose and resolve system and component level performance issues
