Job Title: RF Test Technician

MassHire Lowell Career Center is seeking a skilled RF Test Technician to join our team. As an RF Test Technician, you will be responsible for performing test, tune, and troubleshoot of mid-range to highly complex military RF microwave hybrid assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test and troubleshoot RF microwave hybrid assemblies using state-of-the-art test equipment.
  • Perform testing units over temperature, during vibration, and mechanical shock.
  • Use computer-driven mechanical vibration equipment and soldering components in accordance with J-STD.
  • Collaborate with RF Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineering to develop procedures and troubleshoot products to specifications.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in the test, tune, and troubleshoot of RF Microwave Hybrid assemblies.
  • Familiarity with RF equipment: RF Signal Generator, Spectrum Analyzers/Low Noise Analysis, Signal Analyzer, Oscilloscope, RF Power Meters, Client Network Analyzers.
  • Ability to work under a microscope and utilize hand tools such as torque drivers, tweezers, and other similar tools.
  • Good computer skills and ability to read and work from detailed process sheets and drawings.
  • Experience operating computer-driven mechanical vibration equipment and soldering components in accordance with J-STD.
  • Experience with data analysis of RF Microwave test data and writing test procedures and troubleshooting from schematics.
  • Familiarity working in an ESD and FOD controlled environment.
  • High School Diploma required (no Bachelor's degree required).
Work Environment:

Weekend Shift Hours: 12 hours/day, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 5:00am to 5:30pm. 3x12 Weekend Shift.
