- Performance Management: Oversee management processes around reporting, budgets, and compliance.
- Investment Strategy: Drive investments in key infrastructure projects to enhance capabilities and reduce dependencies.
- Balance Sheet Optimization: Develop processes for active balance sheet trades in digital and fiat assets.
- Risk Mitigation: Design and implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial risks.
- Market Expansion: Lead Ripple's penetration into DeFi and Stablecoins markets.
- Strategic Alliances: Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with key financial institutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Forge strong partnerships with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with Ripple's product offerings.
Requirements:
- Academic Background: Advanced Degree in economics, statistics, physics, applied math, or a related field preferred.
- Professional Experience: 12+ years in the financial industry with a minimum of 5 years in trading departments.
- Market Expertise: Deep understanding of financial markets products and derivatives.
- Cryptocurrency Knowledge: Familiarity with crypto infrastructure players and protocols.
- Decision Making: Ability to process complex information quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Risk, Governance & Compliance: Strong understanding of operational risk and compliance regulations.
- Soft Skills: Excellent documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
