Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team at Aspire People. As a key member of our education team, you will provide vital support to our teachers and students in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Job Summary:

This is a temporary, full-time opportunity to work with students of all abilities, providing individualized support and promoting a positive learning experience. If you have a passion for education and a commitment to making a difference, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and managing student behavior
  • Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Offer reading and writing support to students who require additional assistance
  • Support the teacher in maintaining classroom discipline and encouraging positive behavior
  • Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources
  • Supervise students during break times and off-site activities
  • Monitor students' progress and provide feedback to the classroom teacher
  • Collaborate with other teaching assistants and school staff to create a supportive learning environment
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required
Requirements:
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Prior experience as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant or similar role
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Knowledge of KS1 and KS2 curriculum
