Job Title: Specialty Doctor Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialty Doctor to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team in Havering. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide senior medical support and direct input on clinical care to children and young people with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with our team to provide comprehensive care to children and young people with mental health needs.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to junior colleagues and liaise with other health and social professionals and agencies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local acute trusts and inpatient wards.
  • Contribute to the development of our service and share your expertise with the team.
Requirements:
  • Full GMC Registration with a license to practice.
  • Section 12 certification or a commitment to work towards this.
  • Mastery in the management of a broad range of mental disorders in children, including neurodevelopmental disorders.
  • At least 4 years of full-time postgraduate training or equivalent experience and competencies.
