Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Adult Psychiatry Specialty Doctor to join our Psychiatric Liaison Team at Queen's Hospital in Romford. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide senior medical support and direct input on clinical cases, working closely with adults and their families to deliver high-quality care.

Job Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing senior medical support to the team and direct input on clinical cases
  • Guiding and supervising the team to ensure excellent patient care
  • Developing links with local acute trusts and adult services to enhance care delivery
  • Working alongside Consultant Psychiatrists, Specialty Doctors, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Full GMC Registration with a license to practice
  • Section 12 certification or a commitment to work towards this
  • Mastery in the management of a broad range of mental disorders in adults
  • At least 4 years of full-time postgraduate training or equivalent experience and competencies
