About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Accommodation Officer to join our team at GCH. As a Specialist Accommodation Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our young people in accommodation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support sustainable licenses by identifying proactive approaches to resolving anti-social behaviour cases.
  • Facilitate and attend multi-agency case conferences and problem-solving groups.
  • Conduct individual room inspections and identify actions required.
  • Provide general and practical advice on housing-related support queries.
  • Manage all breaches of licenses effectively.

Requirements

  • Proven understanding of delivering housing management functions and statutory housing services.
  • Good understanding of housing and property management, especially in relation to licence agreements.
  • Experience of anti-social behaviour case management and income collection.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to give accurate and up-to-date advice on housing and ASB legislation.
