We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Radiotherapy Physics Technologist to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. The successful candidate will provide clinical support and quality assurance expertise to our Radiotherapy Physics Service.
Main Responsibilities- Perform routine tests on equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
- Ensure quality control records and local procedures are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with clinical scientists and engineers to resolve equipment-related issues and improve service delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Relevant degree or HND in a physical or biological science.
- Practical experience in a scientific project or research.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Manual and mental dexterity to perform practical tasks with high accuracy and precision.
- Registration as a Radiotherapy Physics Clinical Technologist.
- Experience working in a Radiotherapy Medical Physics Department.
- Ability to manage own time and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to speak Welsh.
