Stroke and Physiotherapy Team Member

We are seeking a skilled Care Support Worker to join our team at Pick for Britain as a Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant. The successful candidate will work closely with our Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to deliver rehabilitation programs, enabling patients to regain their independence and confidence.
As a member of our Stroke and Rehabilitation Therapy team, you will play a vital role in supporting patients with their recovery, helping them to overcome physical and emotional challenges.
Key Responsibilities:The main responsibilities of this role include:
- Delivering rehabilitation programs devised by Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists
- Working with patients on wards, developing and maintaining strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Supporting deconditioning work on delayed transfer of care wards
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in working with patients on wards and delivering rehabilitation programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
