Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Care Support Worker to join our team at Pick for Britain as a Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant. The successful candidate will work closely with our Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to deliver rehabilitation programs, enabling patients to regain their independence and confidence.

As a member of our Stroke and Rehabilitation Therapy team, you will play a vital role in supporting patients with their recovery, helping them to overcome physical and emotional challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Delivering rehabilitation programs devised by Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists
  • Working with patients on wards, developing and maintaining strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Supporting deconditioning work on delayed transfer of care wards
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in working with patients on wards and delivering rehabilitation programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Salary and Benefits:
