Job Role:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic professional to join our Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy Team as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting patients on the wards with rehabilitation programs, working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care, and assisting with daily tasks and duties as required.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive team environment. You will be supported through a comprehensive induction and probation process, with ongoing supervision and development opportunities.

Main Responsibilities:

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting patients on the wards with rehabilitation programs
  • Working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Assisting with daily tasks and duties as required

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:
  • A levels (3) or Level 3 national certificate or Level 3 diploma or Senior Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship or Mathematics and English to Level 2: Functional Skills/GCSE Grade C
  • Practical knowledge of the role and experience of managing allocated tasks independently
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide high-quality patient care

Salary: £18,500 - £21,500 per annum depending on experience.
