In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to work as a Psychiatrist within HCRG Care Group's multidisciplinary team at HMP Chelmsford. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality mental health care to individuals within a challenging yet rewarding environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing the mental health needs of prisoners, many of whom may have complex and severe mental health conditions. You will also participate in shaping the strategic direction of the mental health service, lead senior mental health clinicians in service development, and provide clinical supervision.

To be considered for this role, you will require specialist registration in either General Adult or Forensic Psychiatry and be approved under section 12 (2) of the MHS 1983. You will also need to possess up-to-date knowledge in adult psychiatry and PD, as well as awareness of current issues in mental health service provision, policy, and legislation.
