This role will provide you with unparalleled access to training opportunities, continuous CPD, peer support groups, and a robust supervision and appraisal system.
Role Overview:The successful candidate will be working within our multidisciplinary team, providing senior medical support and guidance to children and young people with eating disorders in Essex.
You will work directly with young people and their families, liaise with other providers and hospitals, and participate in an on-call rota.
This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to collaborative working with health and social professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing specialist psychiatric care to children and young people with eating disorders
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care
- Liaising with other healthcare providers and hospitals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participating in an on-call rota to provide urgent medical support
- GMC Full Registration and a Licence to Practice
- CCT or equivalent qualification
- Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it
- Approved Clinician status or eligibility for it
- Inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST
