About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Manager to drive our business growth strategy in the UK, Norway, and Denmark.

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing pre-positioning, tendering, and work-winning activities in alignment with our long-term growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide valuable input to the development of our Upstream business strategy, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities, leveraging this intelligence to inform our business development pipeline.
  • Collaborate with executives and senior stakeholders during tender preparation and governance, ensuring seamless communication and alignment.
  • Develop and implement offshore business development pipeline activities, driving progress and delivering results.
  • Gather intelligence on key clients' strategies and procurement plans, providing actionable insights to inform our business decisions.
  • Support the development and execution of our offshore division's long-term growth strategy, working closely with senior members of the business.
  • Create compelling executive summaries and deliver striking presentations to clients, showcasing our expertise and value proposition.
  • Leverage company resources to differentiate Altrad and secure opportunities, driving business growth and expansion.
Requirements
  • 10+ years' experience in bid/tender management, business development, and sales, with a proven track record of driving growth through winning tenders.
  • Strong networker and relationship builder, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain key relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Extensive experience in securing opportunities in offshore and upstream sectors, with a deep understanding of the industry and its trends.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and delivering tender submissions, with a focus on quality and results.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven track record of driving growth through winning tenders, with a focus on delivering results and exceeding targets.
  • Exceptional leadership and teamwork abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire high-performing teams.
  • Proficient in preparing and delivering presentations, with a focus on engaging and persuasive communication.
