Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Care Professional to join our team at Health Recruit Network. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Pre-Operative Assessments: Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments to ensure patients are prepared for surgical procedures.
  2. Visual Testing and Imaging: Utilize auto-refractors and ophthalmic imaging devices to support patient care and diagnosis.
  3. Medical Record Management: Maintain and update patient health records and files in compliance with medical standards and policies.
  4. Patient Care Coordination: Participate in the assessment of patient care needs and ensure agreed standards of care are met.
  5. Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest clinical knowledge and skills relevant to ophthalmology and surgical care.
Requirements:
  1. Qualifications: Registered HCA Scrub Nurse or Registered Scrub Nurse or Registered Ophthalmic ODP.
  2. Experience: Knowledge and experience of ophthalmology and ophthalmic surgical procedures.
