Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts and Administration Specialist to join our dynamic team in Manchester City Centre.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Finance Manager and assisting in managing the finances of the law firm.

  1. Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements
  2. Reconciling bank accounts and ensuring payments are correctly processed
  3. Managing client and office account bank reconciliations
  4. Maintaining accurate records and files
  5. Providing exceptional customer service to clients and stakeholders

You will also be responsible for:

  1. Developing and implementing effective administrative processes
  2. Assisting with the recruitment and induction of new staff members
  3. Contributing to the achievement of departmental goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Xero
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
  • Interest and actively stay up to date with legislation and regulatory changes
