Job Title: Sheet Metal Trades Specialist

Join Bronswerk Group, a global leader in marine HVAC solutions, as a Sheet Metal Trades Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for installing HVAC systems on commercial and military vessels.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess job sites and set up equipment prior to commencing work
  • Follow safety protocols and comply with safety and occupational standards
  • Install ducting and equipment as per diagrams and direction from the Supervisor
  • Carry out HVAC installation, including ducting, fasteners on hangers and ducts, and insulation
  • Anchor and hook-up HVAC machinery such as air handling units, fans, chillers, and ventilation equipment
  • Measure, cut, grind, fit, align, and tack weld parts
  • Using design drawings, measure and layout metal plate and tubing during the installation process
  • Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures
  • Layout construct patterns and templates
  • Read, interpret, plan, and execute from drawings, blueprints, and procedures
Requirements:
  • Holds a valid Red Seal accreditation (preferred) or is a registered Apprentice level 3 or 4
  • Comfortable working in tight spaces and at heights
  • Good work quality and ability to work steadily to meet project timelines
  • Good physical dexterity to work in tight or awkward locations
  • No criminal record, must be able to meet security clearance requirements
