Bronswerk Group, a global leader in marine HVAC solutions, is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator & Welder to join our team in Halifax.

As part of our installation team, you will play a vital role in the fabrication and installation of high-quality HVAC systems for marine vessels. Your expertise will ensure the seamless integration of ducting, equipment, and insulation, contributing to the comfort and efficiency of onboard environments.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Prepare work areas and set up necessary equipment for fabrication and installation.
  • Accurately measure, cut, and weld sheet metal components according to provided blueprints and diagrams.
  • Install ducting systems and HVAC equipment, ensuring proper alignment and secure connections.
  • Complete HVAC installations, including the installation of insulation and other related components.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and installation.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Possess a Red Seal accreditation or have reached Apprentice level 3/4 in sheet metal fabrication and welding.
  • Demonstrate comfort working at heights and in confined spaces, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail and the ability to consistently produce high-quality work.
  • Maintain a commitment to meeting project deadlines and exceeding client expectations.

  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to bend, crouch, and kneel are essential for this role.
  • You will be working in both indoor and outdoor settings, potentially encountering noise and confined spaces.
