The Amazon EMEA organization seeks a seasoned Human Resources professional to drive strategic initiatives and foster an optimal employee experience. This role will partner with business leaders to develop and execute HR priorities, leveraging best practices in a high-tech commercial work environment.

About the Role

This Senior HR Business Partner position requires a data-driven, customer-obsessed individual with strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate across global leadership teams. The ideal candidate will have expertise in implementing and optimizing HR programs and processes, as well as identifying and driving solutions aligned with labor relations, HR policies, and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Earn trust as a partner to the Amazon EMEA Leadership Team, providing counsel and support on HR implications of strategic decisions.
  • Maintain and improve employee relations, ensuring compliance with local legislation and promoting Amazon as an attractive place to work.
  • Analyze business unit data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience.
  • Partner with the business on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment.
  • Liaise with talent acquisition teams to attract, hire, and retain top talent, and identify opportunities for internal development.
  • Coach directors in career development and management practices, including organizational structure.
  • Collaborate with HR professionals in EMEA and globally to exchange best practices and deliver exceptional service.
  • Contribute to the wider PXT team, working beyond local remits and adding value to the business.
About the Team

The EMEA UC HR Team brings a unique perspective to the global AWS business, understanding diverse needs of employees across 20+ EMEA countries.

Requirements
  • Excellent command of English (C2 Level).
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Experience in HR working with senior leaders in international environments.
  • Knowledge of external practices, trends, and tools used in HR.
  • Experience with HR Information Systems (e.g., Salesforce, Workday).
  • Advanced knowledge of local labor law within the EU.
