Job Title: Digital Project Support Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Digital Project Support Officer to join our Research Development and Innovation team at Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive support for research studies, working closely with research nurses, principal investigators, and research teams to facilitate study progress and identify barriers to successful recruitment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing administrative and study support for research studies
  • Collecting patient data from medical notes and completing case report forms (CRFs)
  • Submitting requested data to trial centers and ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Liaising with other departments within the hospital to ensure smooth study progress
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders
  • Highly organized and able to work under pressure
  • Ability to use own initiative and make recommendations to improve deliverables
  • Reliable and flexible with a positive attitude to change management
