Telecoms Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Telecoms Assistant Project Manager in our Knowsley office.
Key Responsibilities- Project Coordination: Assist in coordinating all aspects of fibre optic network projects from initiation to completion, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task assignment.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between project managers, subcontractors, clients, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and alignment of project objectives.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and change orders.
- Quality Control: Ensure project quality standards are met and maintained.
- Compliance: Ensure that the workforce is fully accredited in all Openreach, council, and MJQ requirements, working in line with MJQ accredited training school.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues and assist in developing mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
- Budget Monitoring: Assist in monitoring project budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying areas for cost savings.
- Site Visits: Conduct site visits as needed to oversee project progress, address any issues that arise, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Team Support: Assist with training and coordination of tasks to ensure team members have sufficient work in line with targets.
- Strong telecommunications background, preferably with field-based experience.
- Knowledge of fibre optic network infrastructure and telecommunications industry standards is desirable.
- Previous experience in a project coordination or assistant project management role, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong orientation towards quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
