Kennedy Pearce, a global leader in financial services, is seeking an experienced Financial Crime Prevention Specialist to join their dynamic team based in Southampton. This role offers a competitive salary up to £48,000, 2 days of remote work, and an impressive benefits package including annual leave, private medical coverage, and the opportunity to pursue relevant qualifications.

In this critical position, you will develop your skills in financial crime prevention and contribute to ensuring that client due diligence processes align with current regulations. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and assessing complex CDD cases, evaluating AML risks, and escalating issues to senior management when necessary.

You will also play a key role in training staff across the business on AML procedures and building relationships with key stakeholders. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating and submitting accurate AML reports, conducting client documentation reviews, and performing periodic assessments.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong knowledge of AML/KYC principles, client due diligence reviews, and policies. Ideally, you should have at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar field within the financial services industry, preferably in funds or investment management.

A bonus will be given if you have experience with AML regulations in the UK, Channel Islands, or Europe.
