Maintenance Team Lead

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Team Lead to join our team at ARC Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Plant Fitters & Mechanics in the maintenance of our recycling plant and vehicle maintenance operations.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Lead a team of Plant Fitters & Mechanics in the maintenance of our recycling plant and vehicle maintenance operations
* Review and improve maintenance working practices, including fault finding, diagnostics, and planned maintenance
* Recruit and onboard additional Plant Fitter & Mechanic staff as needed
* Manage internal reporting and document review, including processing machinery, mobile plant, and vehicles fault finding, risk, and issue logs
* Participate in and be responsible for carrying out scheduled and reactive maintenance tasks

**Requirements**

* Previous heavy plant, mechanical, and electrical experience
* Experience in repairing mobile plant, such as forklifts and lorries
* Background in HGV maintenance or vehicle maintenance (advantageous)
* Experience in repairing machinery, such as conveyor belts, industrial shredders, and granulators
* Basic knowledge of electrical systems (advantageous)
* Welding skills
* Fault find skills
* Good problem-solving skills
* Fluent English required
* Physically fit
* UK driving license
