Job Title: Lead Maintenance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Manager to join our team at Planet Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Plant Fitter & Mechanics in maintaining our recycling plant and vehicle fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of Plant Fitter & Mechanics in maintaining our recycling plant and vehicle fleet.
  • Review and improve maintenance working practices, including fault finding, diagnostics, and planned maintenance.
  • Recruit and onboard new team members as required to ensure efficient team operations.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections and troubleshoot industrial shredders, granulators, conveyor belts, and other plant machinery.
  • Participate in and lead scheduled and reactive maintenance tasks, including welding activities when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in heavy plant, mechanical, and electrical maintenance.
  • Experience in repairing mobile plant, lorries, and industrial machinery.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and welding skills.
  • Fluent English required.
  • UK Driving License.
