Project Engineer - Powertrain

Join a leading engineering design and development company in Coventry, UK, as a Project Engineer - Powertrain. This exciting opportunity will see you play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality projects within the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project budgets and supervise preliminary stages of major projects
  • Assess production costs and vital data pertaining to the project
  • Compile data from reports and revise time schedules as necessary
  • Ensure quality of work at project sites
  • Liaise with engineering teams, manufacturing teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely closure of actions
  • Responsible for general management of development and production stages of projects
  • Produce product design and development plans
  • Ensure all safety and legal requirements are met

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in automotive/manufacturing environment with relevant experience as a Project Engineer within powertrain or project management role
  • Liaise and communicate with other departments, suppliers, and service providers
  • Ability to manage own time, multitask, and prioritize workload
  • Proven record of people and project management
  • Ability to produce reports and conduct meetings
