Job Title: Project Engineer (Injection Molding)

Location: Coventry

Salary: £45 - 50k + car, bonus, overtime and other additional benefits

Your Key Responsibilities:
  1. Utilize your technical expertise in injection moulding machines to drive project success.
  2. Investigate and resolve technical issues related to moulding machines and processes, ensuring minimal downtime.
  3. Collaborate with maintenance teams to guarantee the proper functioning and maintenance of moulding machines.
  4. Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, including design specifications, test results, and progress reports.
  5. Assist in the execution of industrial automation projects from design through to installation/commissioning.
  6. Perform mechanical and electrical assembly, commissioning, and fault finding.
  7. Provide customer liaison, assistance, and training.
  8. Report to the Engineering Manager for overall performance, with day-to-day tasks overseen by the project manager.
  9. Occasional travel within the UK and abroad may be required.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.
  2. 3-5 years of experience in project engineering or a similar role within the plastic injection molding industry.
  3. Proven track record of managing injection molding projects from inception to completion.
  4. Excellent problem analysis, resolution, and documentation skills.
  5. Ability to adapt to an ever-changing role.
  6. Knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and methods, environmental regulations, engineering project management methods, workplace safety, and employee/contractor supervision.
  7. Preferably residing within 30-40 miles of our office in Coventry.
