Salary Range: £34,308 per annum

Job Description:

This role involves delivering high-quality teaching, supporting student progress, contributing to course development, and undertaking related administrative and tutorial duties. The successful candidate will teach a diverse range of learners, develop teaching materials, conduct assessments, and liaise with industry professionals.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Teaching and Curriculum Development: Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Electrical Installation programs, ensuring curriculum alignment and adapting teaching methods to meet learner needs.
  2. Student Support and Guidance: Act as a course tutor, tracking student progress, setting targets, and maintaining communication with students, parents, and employers regarding achievements and areas for improvement.
  3. Industry Engagement: Manage work placements and foster industry relationships to enhance learning opportunities for students.
  4. Professional Development: Stay current with industry trends and continually develop teaching methods through professional development.
Qualifications and Experience:
  1. Advanced Craft/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations
  2. Certificate in Education/PGCE or equivalent (support provided if not held)
  3. Assessor and Internal Verification qualifications (A1/V1 or equivalent preferred)
  4. Substantial and recent industry experience within Electrical Installations
  5. Knowledge of current Electrical Installations curriculum
