Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Apprenticeships Consultant. As a key member of our Diagnostic and Support Services Division, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • To work closely with expert BMS practitioners in dissecting small and large specimens, and to contribute to the development of a digital pathology diagnostic workflow for primary diagnosis.
  • To encourage and support the development of subspecialty interests, and to work collaboratively with clinical, medical, professional, and managerial colleagues to provide exceptional patient care.
  • To ensure compliance with all revalidation requirements, including holding a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or being within six months of award by the date of interview.
  • To participate in the provision of a first-class cellular pathology service, undertaking all work in accordance with the Trust's procedures and operating policies.
  • To maintain the confidentiality of business plans and development strategies, and to conduct clinical practice in accordance with contractual requirements and within the parameters of the Trust's service plans.
Requirements
  • UK-trained applicants must hold a CCT or be within six months of award by the date of interview.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
