We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Marketing Executive to join our team at Highfield and Brookham School. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital marketing and a keen interest in the independent school sector.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Drive our digital and social media strategy to achieve the aims of our overall marketing and admissions strategy.
  2. Manage website development, including regular web copy updates, on-page optimisation, link building, and user experience.
  3. Develop a digital paid advert strategy, including Google Ads, Facebook, and Instagram adverts.
  4. Use Google Analytics to analyse and report on marketing metrics and provide insights on website traffic and campaign activity.
  5. Devise and manage digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness, consideration, and lead generation for admissions.
  6. Analyse campaign results and trends to improve future performance.
  7. Create a content calendar for social media channels and assist the team to generate relevant information for our target audiences.
  8. Develop and implement social media strategies to increase engagement and promote advocacy among current or former parents and pupils.
  9. Provide insights into the behaviour and perceptions of our target audiences based on their website usage and other digital touchpoints.
  10. Monitor competitor social activity and websites; conduct research and competitor analysis to ensure our activities are clearly differentiated.
  11. Assist with staffing key marketing events throughout the year.
  12. Work to protect the school's brand and visual identity through design, photography, and videography.
  13. Support the Admissions Registrar to understand prospective parents' needs and inform the digital marketing strategy.

Requirements:

  1. Degree in marketing or 2 years' experience in digital marketing.
  2. Proven expertise in all aspects of digital marketing.
  3. Strong writing and editorial skills, including creative, SEO, media, and business writing.
  4. Ability to juggle multiple projects and work simultaneously with different messages and target markets.
  5. Design know-how and knowledge of InDesign or Photoshop.
  6. Willingness and flexibility to work the odd evening or weekend.
  7. Experience of Wordpress CMS.

This is a one-year fixed-term contract. Hybrid working, part-time hours, and/or flexibility in school holidays will be considered for the right candidate.
