Special Education Needs Teacher

We are seeking an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to join our dedicated team on a full-time, long-term basis. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating engaging and inclusive lessons for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and deliver differentiated lessons that cater to the specific needs of students with ASD and SLD.
• Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies to support students' academic and social-emotional needs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting a sense of belonging and encouraging students' active participation and engagement.
• Utilise a range of teaching and communication strategies to enhance learning experiences for students with SEN.
Requirements:
• Experience of teaching students with ASD and SLD.
• Strong knowledge of behaviour management strategies and IEP development.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the school's leadership team and SENCO.
